Is there a Fee for the Sugam Darshan Pass?

No, there is absolutely no fee for this service. The official guidelines state clearly that the “Trust does not charge any fee for aarti & darshan passes”. The booking type is explicitly listed as “Ramlala & Ram Darbar Darshan (Nishulk),” where “Nishulk” means free of cost.

 Who is Eligible for Sugam Darshan?

Both Indian and Foreign devotees are eligible to book this pass.

  • Indian Devotees: Must use a valid Aadhaar card as proof of identity.
  • Foreign Devotees: Must use a valid Passport as proof of identity.

Step 1: Login via Mobile or Email OTP

To begin the booking process, visit the official website and navigate to the login section. You will be asked to enter your mobile number or email ID to receive a One-Time Password (OTP). Enter the OTP received to verify your identity and access the dashboard.

Once logged in, you will see a list of “Online Services” on the home screen. Click on the option labelled “Free Sugam Darshan” to proceed with the booking interface.

Step 3: Select Darshan Type and Tatkal Options

You will see a dropdown for “Booking Type”. You can choose between:

  • Standard Booking: “Ramlala & Ram Darbar Darshan (Nishulk)”.
  • Tatkal Booking: “Ramlala & Ram Darbar Darshan (Nishulk)-Tatkal”. Note that Tatkal Darshan is available for all slots on the current day until 09:00 PM.

Step 4: Choose Date

Select the desired date for your visit from the calendar provided on the screen. If you selected the “Nishulk”or “Tatkal” option, you will be booking for the current date.

Step 5: Choose Available Time Slot

After selecting the date, a grid of time slots will appear showing availability. The slots are generally scheduled in two-hour intervals, such as:

  • 07:00 AM – 09:00 AM
  • 09:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • 01:00 PM – 03:00 PM
  • 03:00 PM – 05:00 PM
  • 05:00 PM – 07:00 PM
  • 07:00 PM – 09:00 PM

Step 6: Enter Devotee Personal Details

You must provide specific details for each devotee visiting. The required fields include:

  • Devotee Name: (e.g., Singh).
  • Age: (e.g., 20).
  • Gender: (e.g., Male).
  • ID Proof Type: Select “Aadhaar (for Indian)” or Passport.
  • ID Proof No: Enter the unique identification number.

Step 7: Upload Photo and ID Proof

For verification purposes, the system requires you to provide a photo. You will see options to “Photo Capture” (take a live photo) or “Upload Photo” directly to the form.

Before finalising, review all details, including the selected slot, devotee name, and ID proof number, to ensure accuracy. Verify the district and state information (e.g., Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh).

Once the booking is confirmed, a “Booking ID” will be generated (e.g., DAONPGV). You must download the booking receipt. The instructions explicitly state: “Please take a printout of the booking yourself and bring it along”.

Tips For Ram Mandir Pass Booking

Valid Documents Required for Entry

At the reporting point, you must produce the original documents used during booking.

  • Verification: Bring the printed copy of your booking receipt and the original ID proof (Aadhaar or Passport) used for booking.

Accepted IDs: Only Aadhaar card (for Indians) and Passport (for Foreigners) are accepted as valid ID proof.

Reporting Time and Entry Rules

  • Entry Point: The entry is typically through “Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Sampark Marg”.
  • Timing: Entry starts 15 minutes prior to the commencement of your chosen Darshan Slot Time. For example, if your slot is 09:00 AM – 11:00 AM, you should report by 08:45 AM.

How to Avail Wheelchair Assistance

Devotees requiring mobility assistance can avail themselves of wheelchairs at the temple.

  • Location: Help counters are available at the temple’s entry gate.
  • Requirement: To use this facility, the devotee must carry original medical proof.

Important Rules for Tatkal Darshan

If you are planning a last-minute visit, the “Tatkal” option is useful.

  • Availability: Tatkal Darshan is available for all slots on the current day.
  • Booking Cut-off: You can book these slots until 09:00 PM on the same day.
